About

This blog is written by Gavin Baker and is based out of the great city of Knoxville, TN. This blog serves as an outlet of my thoughts on business, branding, and the occasional unsolicited opinion. All ideas, thoughts, posts are fully representative of me and not of my company.

I spend most days brainstorming and analyzing leadership and innovative uses of technology around the world.

I spend my days (and some nights) as the Director of Digital Media for Moxley Carmichael.

Previously, I designed and implemented the social and emerging media strategy as part of the interactive marketing team at Ruby Tuesday, Inc. .  Prior to that I spent my days leading the small, but amazing team at Abunga.com as CEO where we practiced ecommerce with a mission.

If you’re ever in town and want to meet up shoot me an email and I’ll make it happen.  I’m always up for connecting with interesting people.

Speaking

I’ve been fortunate to speak at events such as Social Fresh, Social Media Business Forum, Social Media Club – Greenville (video below), and local events such as the Social Media Summit, University of Tennessee MBA and Executive MBA classes.   Interested? Please contact me via email.
